Why is stock analysis important ?

Let's say you want to buy the best smart phone out of tons of available smart phone in the market. The first thing you do is comparing the phones performance by few parameters like RAM, Camera, Memory, Battery, Processor and finally decide the price. The same thing applies to the stock market. There are thousands of companies listed in the NSE and BSE. Any investor or trader does a thorough research and make some assumptions about the future performance of the company. So, performing a research before making an investment is a must. It is your hard earned money that you are about to invest, so you must have a fair knowledge of what you are investing in.

How is the tool built and works ?

The Stock Analysis project is a web application framework built on R Shiny which is a library of R programming language. R programming is proven to be one of the best statistical programming languages out there. R Shiny is a great way to quickly display data and create interactive dashboards, and it is the backbone of many Data Science’s projects. The tools pulls the information from various platforms like Yahooo Finance, Money control, Economic times and does all the manipulations of the data. The transformed data is again converted into better visualizations for different types of analysis such as fundamental, technical, realtime price analysis and different types of trading strategies. In addition, this is for news research and swot analysis.

What is the goal of the project ?

As the market absorbs all the information quickly and efficiently, we want to provide it freely available for everyone. We want to make sure information is fair and correct so that the market players can analyse the information quickly beforehead and act upon buy and sell signals.

Thank you for reading till now. I will update how to use the tool in upcoming days
